In this episode of Songs of Inspiration, we talk to Rachel Sumner, an award-winning singer-songwriter. I first heard Rachel play a house show hosted by our mutual friend Sasha Letovsky's music events company Worlds End Sessions. I was captivated by Rachel's performance at this show and the depth and meaning behind each of her songs. I am grateful to have her on the podcast and for our great conversation. In this episode, we talk about how she went from a classical flutist to a singer-songwriter, her creative process, and some of the stories behind her songs. She also gave an excellent heartfelt performance. Also, I want to highlight the fantastic work Worlds End Sessions is doing for local musicians. They are a local organization that hosts pop-up shows all over Boston that promote inclusivity and accessibility for all. I met a few artists on the podcast through this organization, and they are doing great work for local musicians. Check them out at https://www.worldsendsessions.com/ย  or follow them on Instagram @worldsendsessions and help keep community alive through music.
